Hello, my name is David Osborn--I am the founder and head teacher at Kids Guitar Academy. When I analyzed the data from all of the students that have enrolled in my programs over the last 10 years I found something astonishing: only 10% of beginners quit within the first year!
Trust me, I am not trying to boast--nor do I have "guitar teaching super powers" (I wish!). The reason the numbers are so different is simple: I ensure that all of my beginning students are adequately prepared for the road ahead. There are 5 keys to preparing the beginning guitarist for success. With all five keys in place, the student's chances of sticking with guitar for the long-term increases dramatically!
